Brian Hartline suffered torn PCL in Dolphins loss

The Dolphins didn’t make the playoffs, but even if they had, they’d have apparently been without one of their most consistent performers.

According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, tests confirmed that Dolphins wide receiver Brian Hartline suffered a torn PCL yesterday. Surgery will not be required, and he’s expected to be ready for training camp.

Hartline finished the year with 76 catches for 1,016 yards and four touchdowns. He’s topped 70 catches and 1,000 yards each of the last two years.

For all the problems the Dolphins had figuring out how to move the ball on a regular basis, he was one of the bright spots.

This guy has played great for the Phins and you could feel his loss in the game yesterday! Good news that it doesn’t require surgery!

The Dolphins scaled K-2(beating Roethlisberger and Brady) and died on the way down(losing to Lewis and Smith). I am still stunned by the last 2 performances with a playoff spot at stake.

How is there no surgery necessary for a torn ligament?

I would guess its partially torn not a full break in the ligament.

    An odd team.

They beat 4 of 6 AFC playoff teams(didn’t play the other two) but couldn’t beat doormats like the Bucs, Bills, and Jets.

Better offensive line and this team could be

It’s been very disheartening to be a Fins fan all these years. Until they can finally beat the teams they are supposed to beat, they will continue to be an average team at best.

There were some bright spots but they really need to get some O-line help and improve on run defense.

Plenty of other teams played crap all season, how about the Texans??? Who cares it’s over now, and wait for all the firings of the coaches who did terrible jobs.

Those doormat Jets just knocked you out of the playoffs and passed you for 2nd place in the division.

I’m not a Dolphins fan Baldy69 but that Jets team isn’t very good. They need receivers, QB’s, RB’s, TE’s, and an OL. Aside of that they are on their way….

I hope he takes some time off from working the drive through so he can get healed up.

Aa stellar performer. He’s been my favorite FIN for the last couple years. A model citizen and consistent performer. Gotta love Hartline!

Hartline is great and a real deep threat even though he gets zero respect from the announcers…. the media needs to come around about the guy
