Former Jaguars, Lions and Cardinals receiver Mike Thomas signed a reserve/future contract with the Texans on Monday, according to the NFL’s transactions.

Thomas was most recently with Arizona, which released him on August 30. He also spent time with Detroit in training camp.

Thomas, 26, was a fourth-round pick of the Jaguars in the 2009 draft. In his second NFL season, Thomas caught 66 passes for 820 yards with four touchdowns for Jacksonville. The Jaguars dealt him to the LIons in October 2012 for a fifth-round selection in the 2014 draft.

Thomas (5-8, 198) has caught 176 passes for 1,796 yards and seven touchdowns in his NFL career.
