If Brandon Jacobs is to continue his NFL career beyond this season, it will have to be as a member of the New York Giants.

According to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News, Jacobs is reproaching the rehabilitation process for his injured knee as if he’s going to play next season. But as far as he’s concerned, it will only be in a Giants’ uniform.

I’m only playing here,” Jacobs said. “Screw all them other teams. Screw all them other teams. I’m a Giant. I tried (playing elsewhere) already. I’m a Giant. I am a Giant up and down, 0-16, 16-0, 8-8, whatever you want to call it. I’m a Giant. That’s what it is. And this is the organization that I love.”

Jacobs’ love for the Giants is further solidified after a mostly lost season as a member of the San Francisco 49ers in 2012. He was active for just two game with the 49ers last year before being released.

Jacobs provided a boost for the Giants this year when injuries left the team severely short-handed. He finished the season with 58 carries for 238 yards and four touchdowns before being placed on injured reserve.
