The Giants are apparently going to have some change after all.

According to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports, offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride will announce his retirement soon.

As exit strategies go, it beats getting punched by a co-worker, but it was clear something was about to happen.

Even owner John Mara, a known advocate of stability, said “I think our offense is broken,” after quarterback Eli Manning set a career high in interceptions, and a parade of running back injuries kept different guys on the field weekly.

With Gilbride out, speculation will turn immediately toward Mike Sullivan. The former Giants receivers and quarterbacks coach was Greg Schiano offensive coordinator with the Bucs.
