Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk got a note from the league this week and it wasn’t wishing him good luck in the playoffs.

PFT has confirmed with the league that Hawk has been fined $15,750 for striking a defenseless receiver with the crown of his helmet during the Packers’ 33-28 victory over the Bears last weekend. Hawk was not penalized for the hit on Marquess Wilson in the fourth quarter of the game.

Ravens safety James Ihedigbo doesn’t have a playoff game to look forward to, but he received the same fine as Hawk. Ihedigbo hit Bengals wide receiver Marvin Jones in the fourth quarter of Baltimore’s 34-17 loss. Ihedigbo was penalized for the play during the game.

Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict was penalized for unnecessary roughness in the same game and cornerback Adam Jones was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct as well. Neither player was fined by the league.
