Sunday’s 49ers-Packers game is a sellout — and just in time.

The Packers announced Friday morning that all tickets had been sold for the first-round game with San Francisco.

The club announced that fans and corporate sponsors snapped up the remaining tickets, thereby avoiding a blackout. The deadline to sell all tickets was later this afternoon.

“A unique season and other factors contributed to having tickets available, but with the support of our fans and partners, we’re looking forward to a great atmosphere Sunday at Lambeau Field for the playoff game against the 49ers,” Packers president and CEO Mark Murphy said in a team-issued statement Friday. “We also know fans around the state will be able to enjoy the telecast.”

Among the companies to buy tickets were the Milwaukee and Green Bay Fox television affiliates. Fox will televise Sunday’s game against San Francisco, which is to be played in exceptionally cold temperatures. Now that all seats are accounted for, many, many televisions will be tuned to the Packers’ game on Sunday afternoon.
