Chiefs now favored over Colts

In the first wild-card game of the weekend, the home team is now a slight underdog.

According to multiple websites monitoring point spreads at Nevada sports books, the Chiefs are favored by 1-to-2.5 points as of early Saturday afternoon.

The Colts opened as 2.5-point favorites earlier in the week. A check of the Jim Feist, Marc Lawrence and ProFootballReference.com point spread archives shows that the Colts haven’t been a home underdog in a postseason game since at least moving to Indianapolis in 1984.

The Colts are hosting a playoff game for the first time since January 8, 2011, when they fell to the Jets 17-16. Indianapolis was a two-point favorite against New York.

That’s weird. Andrew Luck and the Colts are going to run laps around the overrated Chiefs.

The real game is on tomorrow night though.
Man it’s great to watch a future Superbowl MVP at the helm of your favorite team.

Colts won in Arrowhead by 16 & now they are 2.5 point home dogs? What does Vegas know that Colts fans don’t?

It should have been this from the start.
    Indy has just been LuckY.

The only team that doesn’t deserve to be on the playoffs are KC.. They went 9-0 against the NFL’s worse then 2-5 against real competition… Colts are going to roll them… 31-10

I’ll take my chances with Luck over Smith any day. The Colts exposed Smith in KC by taking away the screen and the run game. Make Smith beat you and don’t turn the ball over. The Colts will get their 24 points with Luck. That will be enough.

    How to make money.

Giving the Chefs* points gets more bets.

    More bets=more money.

    *intentional

(More money=more problems, but that’s another post)

Vegas may know something I don’t but what I know is the Chiefs went 11-5 in the regular season, 1-5 against teams in the playoffs while the Colts have wins against SF, Sea, Den & KC. Also Indy has the better quarterback, is at home and has playoff experience. I’ll take the points.

The same Chiefs team that Vegas refused to post any lines for KC games back in early Super Bowl years.

Alex Smith is favored in a road playoff game? Weird, just weird.

This is kind of shocking considering the Colts play much better at home and they just went down to KC and smoked the Chiefs at arrowhead.

What is this information that has moved the line so much in 2-3 days ? I know Hali and Houston are playing for KC, but that doesn’t seem to be enough to move the line that much. Indy has Luck, home field, playoff experience….they seem like the play here.
