The Eagles had one question mark on their injury report heading into Saturday night’s date with the Saints and they’ve gotten a positive answer for their defense.
Safety Earl Wolff is active for the game after being listed as questionable on Friday, giving the Eagles back a player who started six games for them before injuring his knee. Wolff missed five of the final six regular season games, but was able to practice on both Thursday and Friday to get himself back into the lineup.
QB Matt Barkley, WR Damaris Johnson, CB Curtis Marsh, S Keelan Johnson, running back Matthew Tucker, offensive lineman Julian Vandervelde and tackle Dennis Kelly are inactive for the Eagles.
Running back Pierre Thomas, ruled out on Friday, is the biggest name on the Saints’ inactive list. He’ll be replaced by Mark Ingram, Darren Sproles and Khiry Robinson on Saturday night. Thomas will be joined on the inactive list by quarterback Ryan Griffin, defensive back Terrence Frederick, safety Isa Abdul-Quddus, linebacker Keyunta Dawson, defensive tackle Tyrunn Walker and wide receiver Nick Toon.
