Report: Vikings will interview Todd Bowles Monday

The last two Arizona Cardinals defenses will be well-represented in Minnesota this week.

We learned late last week that Ray Horton, who coordinated the 2012 edition of the defense before moving onto Cleveland in 2013, will interview for the Vikings about their head coaching vacancy on Tuesday. Now comes word, via Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, that Horton’s replacement Todd Bowles will meet with the team on Monday.

Bowles has also drawn interest from Cleveland for their opening at head coach and reportedly interviewed for the Browns job on Friday. He ran a strong Cardinals defense this season and has three games of head coaching experience as the interim replacement after Miami fired Tony Sparano in 2011.

Bowles and Horton are two of a coaching search list that’s been mostly populated by coordinators. Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell and defensive coordinator Dan Quinn are reportedly on the list of candidates, as are some assistants working during Wild Card weekend who were not available for interviews last week.
