Chargers out to early 7-0 lead on Bengals

The Chargers are getting a bit of a break on the weather, and they took advantage early with a long drive.

Danny Woodhead capped an unremarkable but steady 12-play, 86-yard drive with a 5-yard touchdown run, giving the Chargers a 7-0 lead over the Bengals.

The Chargers lost center Nick Hardwick, after he appeared to take a shot to the head from Bengals linebacker Rey Maualuga. Hardwick was announced as having a neck stinger, and his return was deemed questionable.

Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers is a clean 4-of-4 passing for 45 yards, but it’s their efficiency running and keeping the chains moving that’s given them a early lead.

How are they getting a break? All this weather talk is BS. Rivers kills it in the snow.

I want the chargers to win just to hear Philip Rivers in a post game interview.

As it may or may not truthful subject to any individual’s opin, it is not at all smart to give the opponent in an NFL Wild Card game additional inspiation. The NFL Coaches/Players unspoken book recommends against this behavior and as a former coach of 10 years, I’d have to agree. This does absolutely nothing to help the 49ers and is likely to hurt them. Anthony…I hope you have a petfect game and are not targeted by the defense.

    Go Niners.
