Packers take the lead

Rodgers

Outplayed for all of the first quarter, the home team finally has snapped out of their 15-minute funk.

The Packers lead the 49ers, 7-6, following a touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers to Jordy Nelson.

The 14-play, 70-yard drive featuring no play longer than nine yards started with an interception of 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick by Packers cornerback Tramon Williams. It came after the San Francisco defense had suffocated the Green Bay offense on three prior drives, which generated a total of six yards.

Now late in the second quarter, the momentum has swung sharply to the Packers. Which based on the first quarter seemed like something that wouldn’t happen.
