When word safety Jordan Pugh broke word that he was signing with the Saints, it left the question of whose roster spot he would wind up taking when he arrived in New Orleans.

The Saints have answered that question on Tuesday by announcing several roster moves. They confirmed the Pugh signing and announced that linebacker Parys Haralson is going on injured reserve and that safety Isa Abdul-Quddus has been released.

Haralson suffered a chest injury that the team believes is a torn pectoral in the victory over the Eagles during Wild Card weekend. Abdul-Quddus was a regular on the New Orleans special teams in 2013 and has played 42 games with the team over the last three seasons.

According to multiple reports from the Saints media corps, New Orleans will also be promoting linebacker Rufus Johnson from the practice squad. Johnson was a sixth-round pick in April and did not play any games with the team during the regular season.
