Steelers sign Miguel Maysonet to reserve/future deal

The Steelers are giving Miguel Maysonet a look.

The 24-year-old tailback was among four players the club signed to reserve/future contracts on Tuesday.

Maysonet had stints with the Eagles, Browns, Chargers, Colts, Jets and Redskins in 2013. The former Stony Brook star signed with Philadelphia as an undrafted free agent last April.

The Steelers also signed linebacker Dan Molis (Toledo), wide receiver Lanear Sampson (Baylor) and cornerback Devin Smith (Wisconsin) to deals.

Ok seriously though, anyone get a good look at him in the preseason? Wondering if he’s a camp body, development project, or special teamer.

Lackluster move by a lackluster team that’s getting awfully comfortable watching the post season on the couch. I guess Tim Tebow scared them off for good.

If we don’t sign Flacco’s WR brother to a contract, than I am done as a steelers fan. Or I’d be happy with McElroy at QB.

Man am I glad I’m a Steelers fan, and don’t root for some underachieving, or one-hit-wonder team.
