Report: Ben McAdoo scheduled to interview for Giants offensive coordinator

AP941423219597

The list of teams interested in Packers quarterbacks coach Ben McAdoo’s services is growing.

Jordan Raanan of NJ.com reports that the Giants are scheduled to interview McAdoo for their vacant offensive coordinator position this weekend. McAdoo is reportedly interviewing for the Browns head coaching job this week and the interview with the Giants could become a moot point if a match is made in Cleveland. McAdoo is also believed to be on the list of candidates to replace Mike Sherman as offensive coordinator in Miami.

The Giants opened up the interview process on Wednesday by speaking to former Bucs offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan and former Titans offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains. Sullivan, who was the Giants’ quarterbacks coach before going to Tampa, got an endorsement from Victor Cruz but it seems the search goes on for Kevin Gilbride’s replacement.

McAdoo got an endorsement of his own from Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, which he’ll bring with him to New Jersey unless the Browns give him a reason to remain in Ohio.
