Alshon Jeffery is set to join teammate Brandon Marshall in Hawaii.

The NFL announced Thursday that Jeffery, the Bears’ second-year star wide receiver, has been added to the Pro Bowl roster.

Jeffery replaces Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson, who dealt with a knee injury for much of the season and missed Detroit’s regular-season finale against Minnesota with the ailment.

The 23-year-old Jeffery hauled in 89 passes for 1,461 yards and seven touchdowns in 2013. He had 20 catches of 20 yards or more and seven receptions of 40 yards or more.

This marks the first time in Bears history that two of their receivers have been named to the Pro Bowl in the same season. Moreover, Jeffery is just the sixth Bears wideout to be named to the NFL’s all-star game. Marshall (2013-2014), Marty Booker (2003), Dick Gordon (1971), Johnny Morris (1961, 1965) and Harlon Hill (1955-1957) are the others.

The 2014 Pro Bowl is Sunday, January 26 in Honolulu. The game will air on NBC at 7:30 p.m. Eastern.
