LaRon Landry practices fully again on Thursday

It looks like the Colts will have safety LaRon Landry in New England on Saturday night.

Landry was knocked out of last weekend’s 45-44 victory over the Chiefs after suffering a concussion while making a tackle, but all signs continue to point to his presence on the field this weekend. Landry was a full participant in practice for the second straight day on Thursday, which indicates no continued concussion symptoms and should bring a green light from doctors for the Divisional Round.

The Colts only had one player, wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey is expected to miss a week or so with a hamstring injury, miss practice on Thursday. Defensive tackle Aubrayo Franklin returned to practice after taking a rest day on Wednesday and was a full participant, as was everyone else on the roster other than Heyward-Bey.

That’s a pretty good place to be health-wise at this point in the season and they’ll be looking for contributions from all hands currently on deck to get past the Patriots on Saturday.

The same Laron Landry Tommy absolutely abused two times last year as a Jet? I doubt the Patriots are loosing any sleep over facing him.

It’s too bad the Pats have as many injuries as they do. Really wanted to see what this D could do with all hands on deck. (Wilfork,Mayo,Kelly, Spikes and Talib 100%)

It would be a lot better if they’d have him for SATURDAY night.

Slaugin: Injuries? Like your team is something special with injuries? Colts lead NFL with 17 on IR. Deal with it, pal.

Has nothing to do with having more injuries than other teams… I just wanted to see my teams Defense finally turn the corner.

I read in a tale of the tape that the Pats had 8 on IR and the Colts had 5 on IR, however its the names that jump out. The Pats list reads like a pro bowl roster. They lost major players at critical positions. Fortunately the guys stepping in have performed well enough to earn an opportunity to compete for a Championship. We’ll see what they can do from here.

Tomato can. Pats win by 3 TDs.

Again, Colts lost more starters to IR than anyone. And had a greater number of players on game rosters than anyone else. Beside Gronkowski, who would be the Pro Bowlers from NE on IR? Those linebackers are not Pro Bowlers. Fat arse Vince Wolfork? He’s way over the hill? We’ll see how much you like Landry after he clocks Edelman a couple times.

There’s only 1 player on the NE roster or NE IR that anyone fears. And nobody fears the overrated coach either.

Watch you back Patriots. Landry and his cohorts will go after your heads, like they did in both games against the Chiefs. They play Dirty and will kick and injured player when they are down (see Knile Davis). Cheap Shot artists all the way around.

Seeing as the only two dependable WRs left for the Pats are Amendola and Edelman, those little guys better keep their heads on a swivel running their cutesy slant routes…bc if Landry doesn’t crush one of them, Antoine Bethea will.
