Darrius Heyward-Bey ruled out for Saturday

As expected, the Colts will not have reserve wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey available for Saturday’s divisional-round game at New England.

Heyward-Bey was officially ruled out for Saturday, according to the club’s final injury report of the week. He sat out all three days of practice with a hamstring injury.

Heyward-Bey has caught 29 passes for 309 yards and one touchdown in 2013, his first season with Indianapolis.

The Colts have six other wide receivers on the roster: T.Y. Hilton, LaVon Brazill, Da’Rick Rogers, Griff Whalen, Deion Branch and Josh Lenz.

While Heyward-Bey is out, every other player on the Colts’ injury report is probable, including starting free safety LaRon Landry (concussion) and starting nose tackle Aubrayo Franklin (rest). Both practiced fully on Friday.

So, Raiders fans, are you still glad the raiders drafted this guy instead of Crabtree?

This might be the Colts best news. DHB being out is wonderful them, he should’ve been cut weeks ago. Glad to see Landry and Franklin will be in too.

“Heyward-Bey has caught 29 passes” — out of 200 thrown to him.

Fortunately, DHB has the legacy of Jacarcus, Two Guns McClain, and the drugged-up U$C QB to keep him from being considered the Raiders biggest draft bust.

The guy can’t catch a cold…and he won’t be back in Indy next year (one year, prove it contract). That said…He accepted his demotion like a man and didn’t whine like a diva. And he was playing well as a gunner on special teams (that speed is good for something). Sucks that he just can’t catch. Maybe a conversion to DB is possible, bc his days as a WR in the NFL are probably over

DHB should have been “ruled out” before he was even drafted! Roberto Duran. …hands of stone!

Crabtree was so insulted DBH was drafted ahead of him he refused to play until they paid him more than DBH!
