Both of the Patriots listed as questionable for tonight’s game against the Colts.

New England cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, who was listed as questionable with a knee injury, and receiver Kenbrell Thompkins, who was listed as questionable with a hip injury, are both active tonight.

The Patriots will not see their old teammate Deion Branch on the field: Although the Colts signed Branch this week, he’s inactive for the game. The Colts’ other inactives are Josh Lenz, Sheldon Price, Daniel Adongo, Khaled Holmes, Joe Reitz and Darrius Heyward-Bey.

New England’s inactives are Chris Barker, Aaron Dobson, DJ Williams, Jake Bequette, Isaac Sopoaga, Justin Green and Steve Beauharnais.

Yeah the Colts totally signed Deion Branch because they needed a receiver. Wasn’t for information on the Patriots at all…

5 or 6 of the skilled players NE will use tonight weren’t even on the roster when branch last played. A completely transformed system, these new skilled players and the fact that there are several other former Pats on indy’s roster makes it ridiculous to think they could garner any realitive info from Branch. What could they learn? Tom’s good and Bill will have some unexpected wrinkle they won’t see coming?

Branch had a Welker type chemistry with Brady. While he doesn’t know the other guys on the field, he does know Brady’s tendencies and weaknesses.

I think he was signed to mimick Edelman in practice, with the thought that he could possibly start if he had any skill left
