Graham has pregame altercation with Bruce Irvin

Graham AP

More than an hour before kickoff, the fun had started in Seattle.

According to Larry Holder of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Saints tight end Jimmy Graham got into a pregame skirmish with several members of the Seahawks on the playing surface at CenturyLink Field.

Graham reportedly exchanged words during pregame warmups with Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin.  Graham then ripped a knit cap from Irvin’s head.

Other Seahawks joined the exhange, and Graham had to be restrained by a member of the Saints’ staff.

We pity the goal posts in Seattle, if Graham scores a touchdown today.

Save it for the field, tough guys…

  2. jakec4 says: Jan 11, 2014 4:00 PM

Graham was simply telling Irvin that their uniforms are ugly enough, and that hideous neon knit caps were making it worse. It was simple fashion advice taken the wrong way.

You can’t be a tough guy while wearing a knit cap – Graham was just helping Irvin out.

  12. mf7krime says: Jan 11, 2014 4:05 PM

I despise both teams so either way I’ll happily see one get eliminated today but the Seattle fans expecting an easy blowout win are in for a surprise.

  17. jayniner says: Jan 11, 2014 4:08 PM

Make quick work of the Seahawks today so you can come to Candlestick next week and try that with Patrick Willis, Navorro Bowman and Ahmad Brooks….and see what happens.

Though I am not a fighting man, I am a very large man. Even at my size, I would imagine fighting Jimmy Graham would be pretty freaking tough. Bruce Irvin too.

    Modern day gladiators, for real.

2nd QTer. 13-0 Hawks. We now see why Rob Ryan was not in any head coaching interviews. It was not his hair or fat physique. It is the fact the Saints defense is not that great.

Ingram is killing the Saints. Horrible drop on a screen pass that looked like it would’ve been a good gain and that terrible fumble. If Hawks score here I feel the game is over.

  59. fanofevilempire says: Jan 11, 2014 5:25 PM

Would like nothing better than Saints bounced from playoffs. And the Patsies…
