Seahawks roll to 13-0 second-quarter lead

Once again, the Saints are on the ropes early in Seattle.

Marshawn Lynch’s 15-yard TD run gave the Seahawks a 13-0 lead less than a minute into the second quarter in Saturday’s divisional-round matchup at CenturyLink Field.

Lynch’s touchdown came two plays after Seahawks defensive end forced Saints tailback Mark Ingram to fumble. Bennett recovered at the New Orleans 24, and the Seahawks were in business.

The Saints have leaned heavily on the run thus far in rainy and windy conditions in Seattle. Quarterback Drew Brees has completed just 3-of-7 passes for 19 yards. The Saints do not yet have a completion to a wide receiver or tight end.

Sean Payton was the last guy I’d expect to roll into Seattle wanting to play Martyball.

If you have to tell everyone you are the “12th Man” — you aren’t. But the rubes in Seattle are lapping it up.

The Seahawks, especially at home, are probably the single most frustrating team to play against in the league. The crowd noise, the “cheaters”, a defense with a mean streak, and a running game that just grinds right through your defense. You wanna test your team against the very best there is, but at the same time I believe that a lot of players THOROUGHLY hate having to square off with these guys (In Seattle, no less).

The oft injured and fragile Percy Harvin missed a sure td…. What’s new?

If Carrol wouldn’t whine about penalties that are clearly obvious, and their defense would go back to the huddle instead of talking smack. I could cheer for them.

Harvins showing toughness today i will give him that, but were was it during the rest of the season?

How did the network put the two biggest idiot announcers in the booth at the same time, for a playoff game no less. This is the best they got?

Harvin may have suffered two concussions today.
