Seahawks take early 3-0 lead

A special teams mishap and a personal foul penalty have put the Saints in an early 3-0 hole at Seattle.

First, Saints punter Thomas Morstead mishandled a snap, then got off just a 16-yard punt, setting up Seattle on the New Orleans 40-yard-line.

Then, on 3rd-and-11 from the New Orleans 41, Saints defensive back Rafael Bush was penalized for a shoulder-to-helmet hit on Harvin, who had a dropped a pass downfield.

The Seahawks capitalized on the Saints’ mistakes, with kicker Steven Hauschka connecting on a 40-yard field goal to give Seattle a 3-0 lead less than five minutes into the game.

Harvin left the game and was tested for a concussion, the Seahawks said. However, he was back on the field for the Seahawks’ second drive.

The Saints’ second drive looked promising, but Shayne Graham missed a 45-yard field goal, which allowed Seattle to stay in front.

Wow, the bounty from 09 is still in on Harvin. Suspend the whole Saints franchise this time.

I almost hope Seattle wins the Super Bowl so they can finally stop crying and whining that they lost legitimately to the Steelers. The Steelers beat them in the Super Bowl, period. Get over it.

Nasty hit. Bush should expect a nice fine in his mailbox next week as he’s watching the Playoffs on his couch like everyone else

I now see why Dan Quinn and not Rob Ryan was being interviewed for head coaching positions. The Saints had one big hit in the beginning and called it a night.

And Mark Ingram fumbles, giving the Seahawks great field position. This is my shocked face; (O.O)

Percy Harvin just had a 12 yard rush on a sweep play. The next play that fake a bubble screen to him and run it with beast mode. Safety is frozen and play is blocked and TD
