Reports: Spencer Ware arrested on DUI charge

Spencer Ware AP

Seahawks rookie fullback Spencer Ware was arrested on a driving under the influence charge on Sunday morning, multiple media outlets, including KING5.com, reported.

According to King5.com, Ware posted $1,000 bail and was released after his arrest in Seattle.

The 22-year-old Ware was placed on injured reserve in October because of an ankle injury. A sixth-round pick from LSU, Ware appeared in two regular-season games for Seattle, rushing for 10 yards on three carries.

The Seahawks host the 49ers in the NFC title game next Sunday in Seattle.

They really love pulling people over for DUI in Seattle. I got pulled over for it two weeks ago and I hadn’t even been drinking.

    Idiot!

Cut him. Seattle can find a scrub RB someplace else.

Was he trying to tip over tree? Did he have weed in the car? Oh, not a forty whiner then…

If he was on the active roster, you wouldn’t hear about this until February 3.

I love the adderal comments, like its the only thing anyone can say, get new comments, and stob acting like children. The seahawks are hardly the only team that has had problems with cheating, uh Saints and Patriots have cheater systems from top to bottom.

That’s why your IR guys and practice squad fellas drive everyone else home after the party. Smart.

I wonder how much Brees and Payton offered to knock P. Harvin out of the game, clear targeting.

Cut him for substance abuse? That would take integrity! I don’t believe the Seahawks have any! I know there coach doesn’t!

  22. evermench says: Jan 12, 2014 7:18 PM

Seahawk fans think they’ve already won the Super Bowl. He was probably out celebrating that.

Jim Harbaugh, by your logic, has no integrity, either. It’s not like he cut Aldon Smith. Oh, wait, since it’s the Seahawks, they’re held to a different standard.

  25. bcajun says: Jan 12, 2014 7:36 PM

Enjoy the celebration…you’ll be coming off that “high horse” in the next week or so…then the rest of the league can celebrate…stay classy yoyos

Behavior like that will get you a raise… in Seattle.

  29. beastmode5150 says: Jan 12, 2014 8:41 PM

What meatcarrol said. Aldon read this and yelled “5….5 dollar….5 dollar keg cuuuuuups”

  30. ridgebak says: Jan 12, 2014 8:48 PM

The thought of playing the Niners will do that to you.

At least he thought outside of the box and didn’t take PED instead to drown his sorrow.

“but…but…Pete Carroll cheated at USC!” – the gospel according to the Seahawk haters

    ________

The NCAA also felt that he cheated at USC. To the point where they stripped him of wins and placed sanctions.

I can look past that, but the guy can’t win with class either… that’s what annoys me most about him.

I think that’s what most of the “haters” are as you call them feel. They have one of the most talented teams in the league, but the coach is obnoxious and it seems to be contagious as some of the fans are catching it as well.
