Reports: Spencer Ware arrested on DUI charge

AP

Seahawks rookie fullback Spencer Ware was arrested on a driving under the influence charge on Sunday morning, multiple media outlets, including KING5.com, reported.

According to King5.com, Ware posted $1,000 bail and was released after his arrest in Seattle.

The 22-year-old Ware was placed on injured reserve in October because of an ankle injury. A sixth-round pick from LSU, Ware appeared in two regular-season games for Seattle, rushing for 10 yards on three carries.

The Seahawks host the 49ers in the NFC title game next Sunday in Seattle.

  1. They really love pulling people over for DUI in Seattle. I got pulled over for it two weeks ago and I hadn’t even been drinking.

  2. I love the adderal comments, like its the only thing anyone can say, get new comments, and stob acting like children. The seahawks are hardly the only team that has had problems with cheating, uh Saints and Patriots have cheater systems from top to bottom.

  3. That’s why your IR guys and practice squad fellas drive everyone else home after the party. Smart.

Give that rookie a call and grab a drink with him. You’re taking the internet a bit too serious.

    Keep it classy, Pete Carroll.

I must’ve missed the part where Pete Carroll was out drinking with Spencer Ware.

Cut him for substance abuse? That would take integrity! I don’t believe the Seahawks have any! I know there coach doesn’t!

Jim Harbaugh, by your logic, has no integrity, either. It’s not like he cut Aldon Smith. Oh, wait, since it’s the Seahawks, they’re held to a different standard.

  7. Enjoy the celebration…you’ll be coming off that “high horse” in the next week or so…then the rest of the league can celebrate…stay classy yoyos

  8. REMINDER: Jim Harbaugh was arrested for DUI in 2005. Pete Carroll has a spotless criminal record.

  9. The thought of playing the Niners will do that to you.

At least he thought outside of the box and didn’t take PED instead to drown his sorrow.

But, but, adderal was yesterdays news, just like our last Super Bowl. Oh wait.

  12. Except being the man in charge of one of the most corrupt College Football programs in the country but other than that…Squeaky clean

    ________

The NCAA also felt that he cheated at USC. To the point where they stripped him of wins and placed sanctions.

I can look past that, but the guy can’t win with class either… that’s what annoys me most about him.

I think that’s what most of the “haters” are as you call them feel. They have one of the most talented teams in the league, but the coach is obnoxious and it seems to be contagious as some of the fans are catching it as well.
