PFT Live: Will Pats abandon the run on Sunday?

Mike Florio is joined by CSN New England Insider Tom Curran to discuss the Patriots’ 43-22 win over the Colts on Saturday and the possibility that Tom Brady will return to his gun-slinging ways after not throwing a touchdown pass in their divisional matchup.

They’ll stick with it if they’re manhandling the Broncos’ front the same way they did the Colts’. Why not?

For Tom Curran to have so much access to the Patriots, he doesn’t have a clue what the hell is going on. Talk about two peas in a pod. In 2012 with the No. 1 passing off. in the NFL they went into the Denver game and ran for over 250 yards averaging more than 5.0 yards per carry to beat the Broncos. I believe they had two ball carriers with over 100 yds. each, that was without Blount.

If he’s advising teams on how to beat the Pats, he won’t be “an insider” for long. Or has he already been told to take his “insider” act somewhere else and now he’s looking to screw them over?

They will ABANDON it guys. No runs for any back. Strictly throws. Great analysis.
