George Paton lands on Miami’s radar

The Dolphins have been announcing the names of candidates who have interviewed for their vacant G.M. position, after the interviews are completed. Eventually, an announcement could be coming with the name George Paton in it.

Per a league source, the Vikings assistant G.M. has landed on Miami’s radar screen. It’s believed that he’ll interview for the position.

Paton was considered for the Rams G.M. job a couple of years ago, and his name has emerged in connection with other vacancies. He previously worked in Miami from 2001 through 2006.

The Dolphins interviewed five candidates for the position from Friday through Sunday. No further interviews have been conducted on Monday or Tuesday.

Or, perhaps more accurately, no further interviews have been announced.
