Two straight days of practice for San Francisco 49ers cornerback Carlos Rogers has him believing he’ll be ready for Sunday’s NFC Championship game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Rogers has missed San Francisco’s first two playoff games after suffering a hamstring injury in the team’s regular season finale against the Arizona Cardinals.

However, Rogers said Thursday night on his radio show on KNBR in San Francisco he expects to play against the Seahawks on Sunday.

I’m playing,” Rogers said.

Rogers continued on to say he expects to play in the nickel back role with Tremaine Brock and Tarell Brown remain as the starters on the outside.

Perrish Cox, who spent two brief stints with Seattle this season, has served as Rogers’ replacement the last two weeks in the nickel back spot.

Rogers started all 16 games in the regular season for San Francisco and racked up 47 tackles and two interceptions on the year.
