Andrew Luck added to Pro Bowl roster

With one Class of 2012 quarterback on his way to the Super Bowl, another second-year passer is getting a Pro Bowl invitation.

Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has been added to the Pro Bowl roster, the club said Sunday night. He replaces Russell Wilson, the starting quarterback for the NFC-champion Seahawks and a third-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.

The 23-year-old Luck threw for 3,822 yards with 23 touchdowns and nine interceptions for Indianapolis, which captured the AFC South and won a wild-card game vs. Kansas City before bowing out against New England in the divisional playoffs.

The No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 draft, Luck will be appearing in his second Pro Bowl in as many seasons.

Don’t know why he wasn’t originally voted in

But who will replace Brady? I doubt he plays in this game.

Funny that Luck replaces Wilson. That is like Joe Montana replacing Colin Kaepernick. Luck is a FAR better QB than Wilson, who is mediocre. Denver will win that super bowl by two scores.

They should give Sherman’s spot to Crabtree solely for his reaction.

He can spend all day throwing TDs to Alshon Jeffery, and together they make everyone who didn’t vote for them in the first place feel stupid.

How does an AFC quarterback replace an NFC quarterback?

So, basically what that says is that Wilson is the best QB from the 2012 draft through two seasons. Another third round pick, Nick Foles, would make the team ahead of Robert Griffin. Really makes you want to rush out and use your top draft pick on a quarterback.

Nothing against Luck but what is the point of even playing the game if a good chunk of the guys that get in don’t play. Maybe I am spoiled here in N.O. but if those mediocre numbers get you in what’s the point, especially when Aaron Rogers, Nick Foles and Alex Smith are left out. Even KP7 would be a better pick.

Wilson may not be lighting it up but he plays sound, fundamental football without making nearly as many crippling mistakes as Luck and Kaepernick did. That’s why he’s in the Superb Owl.

It wasn’t long ago Russell was playing at an MVP level maybe not winning MVP but definitely worthy of consideration . But media is all about what have you done for me lately . Totally disregarding that Seattle in 5 of 6 games has played a top 7 defense every week . Any team would struggle as you saw today they can make plays in the passing game. They not become pass heavy but not to long ago was Seattle still without passing a ton 2nd in scoring offense and 1 in explosive plays .

But according to every couch analyst out their Seattles offense sucks.. The super bowl will be a great matchup and either team can win . One things for curtain the broncos won’t blow out that defense even if they win .

Glad the young guys are going to the pro bowl “Luck” he’s a great young qb who is becoming a bit of a fun slinger but acts like manning so he doesn’t get that title even though it’s fitting .. Luck is a beast and will be for a while but you get the good with the terrible with him so far which is turnover and losses bc of it. . I think he’ll be better for it later in his career .

Andrew Luck is a better QB than Russell Wilson. He was not very good yesterday, he got bailed out by his defense. Why does he run backwards so much?? Peyton will pick this team apart in the Super Bowl, just wait.

How soon until Tom Brady discovers some injury to keep himself out of the Pro Bowl again?

    I love the Superb Qwl!
He is the greatest of all the Owls.
