This just keeps getting better and better.

Not only did the Seahawks just convert a fourth-and-7, they took a 20-17 lead in the NFC Championship Game with a 35-yard touchdown pass from Russell Wilson to Jermaine Kearse early in the fourth quarter.

They appeared ready to settle for a 54-yard field goal attempt, but after a timeout, chose to go for it. Wilson then took advantage of a free play, with the 49ers jumping before the snap, drilling the ball to Kearse in the back of the end zone.

Of course, that drive began after the Seahawks caught a break on a running into the kicker penalty which should have been called roughing on a 49ers punt,.

After a physical, pounding style throughout the day, these defenses may simply be wearing out, allowing a few big plays to slip through the cracks.
