Multiple fines not a good sign for Hakeem Nicks’ to return

Skipping offseason workouts apparently wasn’t the only time Hakeem Nicks was late last season.

According to the NFL Network, via the New York Daily News, the Giants fined the wide receiver “multiple times” for being late and missing treatments while he was injured.

Nicks has said he wants to return to the Giants, but that seems less and likely the more time passes.

With wide receivers Rueben Randle and Jerrel Jernigan in the wings, the Giants don’t appear inclined to give Nicks the kind of deal he was looking for while boycotting last offseason.

And with the team implementing a new offensive system, with a stated goal to get on the same page, that makes it look like Nicks will be looking elsewhere for that contract.
