The Broncos saw several players go down with injuries in the second half of their AFC Championship Game victory, with some returning after a handful of plays on the sideline and others who were lost for the rest of the proceedings.

Running back Knowshon Moreno and cornerback Tony Carter fell into the second group. Moreno was described as having a chest injury after he left in the fourth quarter while Carter left briefly with what appeared to be an arm injury before leaving for good with a concussion.

Josina Anderson of ESPN reported Sunday night that x-rays of Moreno’s ribs showed no breaks. Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reports the same and adds that the expectation around the Broncos is that both Moreno and Carter will be well enough to play against the Seahawks on February 2 at the Meadowlands.

There’s plenty of time before there will start being injury reports for the Super Bowl and there may not be much intrigue to the ones on the Denver side once they do appear if the initial reports hold up.
