Tony Gonzalez will have one more football game to play after all.

According to Michael Cunningham of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Gonzalez has been named to the Pro Bowl roster to replace San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis.

Davis was one of several 49ers players to opt out of playing in the game after seeing their season conclude with a 23-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship on Sunday.

Gonzalez is retiring from the NFL after what is sure to be a Hall of Fame career. Gonzalez has made the Pro Bowl in 14 of his 17 seasons in the league.

Gonzalez ranks first all-time among NFL tight ends in receptions (1,321), receiving yards (15,071) and touchdown receptions (111).
