Keyshawn, Dickerson applaud Bieber arrest

images

Pop star Justin Bieber has been arrested in Miami on various charges, including drag racing and DUI.  Former NFL receiver and current ESPN analyst Keyshawn Johnson sees it as very good news.

They finally caught HIM!” Johnson said on Twitter.  “Glad no one was hurt, no kids in the street.  Everyone grows up at some point.  Hopefully he learns from it.”

Last year, Johnson railed publicly on Bieber for driving too fast in the L.A. neighborhood in which they both reside.

“You got a 19-year-old kid feeling entitled, speeding up and down the highway,” Johnson said at the time.  “That’s why all the neighbors is mad.  Then you got him spitting on people in the neighborhood.  You can’t do that.”

Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson, who lives in the same area and tweeted last year that Bieber needs to “slow his ass down,” also did a social-media fist pump.”It’s about time!” Dickerson tweeted.  “Nobody’s above the law!”

Bieber’s father, Jeremy, reportedly assisted with efforts to block traffic so that Bieber could put the pedal to the metal on his yellow Lamborghini.

Keyshawn was just yelling at Bieber to “c’mon man, get off my lawn…” last week.

My question, how do you have an expired license at 19? Aren’t they good for like 8 years?

Send this DB back to Canada!

  6. tmhofficial says: Jan 23, 2014 1:30 PM

    What a great father.

And you wonder why JB acts as though he’s above the law and society.

  7. thestrategyexpert says: Jan 23, 2014 1:31 PM

I just watched Bieber look extremely bored on CNN when the Judge and attorneys took a long time to figure out how many hundreds of dollars this was going to be, looked like it might have been 5 less there for a second. He didn’t look phased one bit or even understanding why grown people spend so many seconds to do accounting on small potatoes issues. I think he felt sorry for everybody in the courtroom that doesn’t have more fun things to do with their time like what he has planned for this afternoon.

  8. bucrightoff says: Jan 23, 2014 1:31 PM

  13. thekiller678 says: Jan 23, 2014 1:33 PM

So Bieber just turned into another classic case of a teen superstar who’s life starts to go down the drain soon after he retired/moved on from what made him famous in the first place.

Color me surprised… If I hadn’t expected this to happen over 4 years ago

  14. seatownballers says: Jan 23, 2014 1:33 PM

Look at that picture. Imagine if he’d ever have to do time. I’d be a two thousand man fight over who gets to share a cell with him.

Comparing Beiber to Sherman is ridiculous. Sherman is a talented, well educated man, who is the best cornerback in the NFL. Beiber is a child, who looks like a girl, and is on a downward spiral. I really hope he falls hard. I cannot stand him, and it is not because I am jealous of the fact that he is young, rich and can have pretty much any female he wants. Now, I really cannot stand him.

Sad that some of you compare this perennial idiot to Richard Sherman. Sherman said something dumb at an inappropriate time whereas Bieber is always up to no good it seems and you are going to compare the two? C’mon, man?

  48. Matt Atkins says: Jan 23, 2014 2:17 PM

I read that he was doing 50-60 mph in a 35 mph zone. In a Lamborghini. Who drag races a Lamborghini and gets pulled for doing 50-60? I could do that in a Focus or a Prius…

This kid seems destined for a sad ending…

Bieber is high and when he is not high he is drunk. He gets all the trim he wants and he thinks he is untouchable. Kind of a game anyway with much of today’s generation.

We all are full of ourselves sometimes in our lives but this notion is tempered by wisdom and punctuated with consequences.

  109. j0esixpack says: Jan 23, 2014 7:56 PM

Yeah – they really taught him a lesson setting bail at $2500 after a DUI in a $250000 Lamborghini.

That’s about the value of that car’s rear view mirror – which he probably just broke off and gave it to the cops to make bail.

It’s not like you even need a rear view mirror on a car not built to go less than triple digits.
