Keyshawn, Dickerson applaud Bieber arrest

Pop star Justin Bieber has been arrested in Miami on various charges, including drag racing and DUI. Former NFL receiver and current ESPN analyst Keyshawn Johnson sees it as very good news.

They finally caught HIM!” Johnson said on Twitter. “Glad no one was hurt, no kids in the street. Everyone grows up at some point. Hopefully he learns from it.”

Last year, Johnson railed publicly on Bieber for driving too fast in the L.A. neighborhood in which they both reside.

“You got a 19-year-old kid feeling entitled, speeding up and down the highway,” Johnson said at the time. “That’s why all the neighbors is mad. Then you got him spitting on people in the neighborhood. You can’t do that.”

Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson, who lives in the same area and tweeted last year that Bieber needs to “slow his ass down,” also did a social-media fist pump.”It’s about time!” Dickerson tweeted. “Nobody’s above the law!”

Bieber’s father, Jeremy, reportedly assisted with efforts to block traffic so that Bieber could put the pedal to the metal on his yellow Lamborghini.
