More information regarding Louisiana allegations against Sharper coming Friday

Sharper AP

Last Saturday, a report surfaced of former NFL safety Darren Sharper being arrested in California on charges of suspicion of rape.  Later that same day, the New Orleans Police Department issued a statement acknowledging that a sexual assault complaint had been made last year against Sharper in Louisiana.

Per Naomi Martin of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, police will release on Friday the report generated in connection with the September 24, 2013 incident.  Sharper, who played for the Saints, Vikings, and Packers, has not been arrested or charged in Louisiana.

The release will be coming in response to a formal request made by the Times-Picayune on January 18.

On Saturday, Sharper quickly was suspended indefinitely and without pay by his current employer, NFL Network.

Did the cops make the guys in the lineup shoulder shimmy?

This is not good. Two separate allegations appearing in different states. If true he has been a busy man for the wrong reasons.

There is a strange edginess about this guy. Just something different (not in a good way) versus the rest of the talking heads and or ex-football players.

Maybe it’s his dark secrets…maybe not. We shall see.

Sharper should look at what happened to Dave Megget who turned out to be a serial rapist and is now spending a long long time in prison and has lost everything.

Even if the NFL Network gets rid of Sharper, they just find another turd to replace him, it’s how they roll.
