Giants offensive lineman David Diehl has played in a pair of Super Bowls, but he’ll be a spectator when Super Bowl XLVIII kicks off in the stadium he calls home.

Diehl will join Pro Football Talk on NBCSN on Thursday to discuss the matchup between the Broncos and Seahawks, both of whom beat the Giants during the regular season, as well as his own football future. He’s set to become a free agent in March, although there have been reports in New York that Diehl will be calling it a career.

Vikings General Manager Rick Spielman will also be on the show to talk about the team’s direction heading into the offseason. Mike Zimmer has been installed as the new head coach with Norv Turner coming aboard as the offensive coordinator. We’ll ask Spielman about those two hires and what he’ll be doing to give them the players necessary for a run at the playoffs next season.

It all gets started at 5:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Diehl definitely lost his eye of the tiger this year.

He had a great career with the Giants and will always have the respect of all Giant fans.

It will be nice to see him start and finish with the Gmen.

Good Luck and God Bless on your next endeavor!

I went to high school with Diehl. Would be pretty neat if he signed with the Bears for a season.
