The last time Broncos linebacker Von Miller was due in court to deal with a variety of traffic violations, he arrived two hours late and upset the court.
Miller wasn’t in court at all on Thursday, but his case still came to an end. The Denver Post reports that Miller’s attorney entered a guilty plea on two charges -- a lane change violation and speeding 10 to 19 mph over the posted limit -- and the court dismissed other pending charges from driving mishaps to bring an end to those legal troubles for Miller.
Miller had already completed community service and a driving class mandated by the court at his previous court appearance and had seven points removed from his license.
With those issues taken care of, Miller can keep his attention focused on rehabbing his torn ACL. Miller had surgery to repair the injury earlier this month and will be working to make sure he’s healthy enough to get on the field with enough time to be ready for the start of the 2014 season.
