Peter King talks about his “Snaffler”

We launched Super Bowl week at PFT Live from Radio Row with a visit from my on-air colleague, Peter King of Football Night in America and

Peter addressed plenty of topics, including his special feature for this week:  The Daily Snaffler.

It sounds dirty, but it’s not.  (Unfortunately.)  According to, it’s a term that applies to someone who misappropriates marijuana.

    A “snaffler” is an ethical lapse for a journalist where he sneaks in a mention of his own kid’s amateur athletic exploits in an article about pro sports.
