Between flashes of quality play, Bills quarterback E.J. Manuel’s rookie year was defined by his problems staying healthy.
He’s hoping he has that under control now.
Manuel told Tim Graham of the Buffalo News he had a minor procedure on his left knee recently, describing it as an “in-and-out.” He’s already rehabbing the knee.
Manuel missed six games this season because of three separate knee problems, but played well at times.
If he can stay on the field, it would help his development as a pocket passer, which the Bills are committed to, saying they wanted to hire a quarterbacks coach to assist him.
