Marshawn Lynch loves Tom Cable, for one specific reason

Lynch

The best thing about people who don’t say much is that, when they finally do, it’s usually pretty entertaining.

That’s what happened on Thursday, when Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch came out of his shell regarding a man who was once accused of cracking a skull. Or, more accurately, a jaw.

Former Raiders coach Tom Cable now serves as the offensive line coach in Seattle. During his time in Oakland, Cable was accused of breaking the jaw of former Raiders assistant Randy Hanson.

That connection was good enough for Lynch.

“Being from Oakland, all I knew about him was he punched people,” Lynch told reporters regarding Cable. “That’s my type of person.”

While humorous (even though Lynch wasn’t laughing), it maybe tells us a little more about Lynch that maybe we should want to know. Which perhaps explains why he tries to avoid saying much of anything.
