Last week, the Browns raided the Bills for several coaches after defensive coordinator Mike Pettine left to become the boss in Cleveland.

On Friday night, the Bills announced the hiring of two replacements.

Former Pats assistant Pepper Johnson has remained in the division, joining Buffalo as defensive line coach.  Also, former Vikings assistant Fred Pagac has become the new linebackers coach.

Both men will work under former Lions coach Jim Schwartz, who has become the new defensive coordinator in Buffalo.

Johnson (pictured) coached with Bill Belichick in New England for 14 seasons, and previously played for Belichick for 12 other years.

More importantly, we learned tonight that Pepper acquired his nickname from a habit of sprinkling pepper on his breakfast cereal.
