Book ‘em: Seahawks go up 5-0 in first quarter

The Seahawks have just given the poor guy with the 5-0 box at your party some hope for a score.

After the remarkable safety to start the game, the Seahawks were only able to tack three more onto it with a Steven Hauschka field goal.

Russell Wilson came up just short on a third-down run, and coach Pete Carroll burned a timeout with an unsuccessful challenge of the spot.

The drive was promising for the Seahawks, with Percy Harvin running for 30 yards on a reverse (and not needing immediate medical attention). But Wilson also missed a wide open screen pass, part of a sloppy start for the two best teams in football.
