Sherman has a high ankle sprain

Sherman AP

The best news for the Seattle Seahawks is that they’ve won the first Super Bowl in franchise history.  The comforting news is that cornerback Richard Sherman should be healthy soon.

He told Westwood One immediately after Sunday night’s 43-8 win over the Broncos that Sherman has a high ankle sprain.  Sherman said it happened early in the game, and that he aggravated it in the fourth quarter.

Sherman has a boot on his right foot, and he’s using crutches.  Presumably, rest will heal the injury.  Some ankle sprains are sufficiently severe to require surgery, however.

Ochosherman will probably sprain his jaw from talking too much in the next two weeks.

Doctors need to put a boot on his mouth.

What happened to all the morons who said Peyton was gonna own Sherman and shut his mouth? LMAO!

You people are pathetic. He just won the Super Bowl. You all couldn’t help yourselves from proclaiming him mincemeat in the big game. They won just give credit where credit is due.

Hate to see players get injured…but at least we didn’t have to hear him call Manning mediocre.

    Nice win, Hawks

People are despicable how are u going to laugh at an injured player, as I said earlier I thought this game wasn’t going to be close in
The Broncos favor, but Seattle showed up and balled my hats of to them. Well Manming that is another story, but the donkeys got slain.

Rams fan who hates Seattle here. If I would’ve bet on that game, I would have lost every dollar that I have. But, credit where it’s due. The Seahawks put their money where their mouth is and went out there and dominated. A testament to just how tough the NFC West is. Congrats, Seahawks fans…enjoy it! We’ll be back at it and coming for you next season :)

If Sherman *had* called Manning mediocre, it would really be hard to argue he was wrong …

A high ankle sprain and more rings than Kaepernick. Go Hawks!

the Seahawks and the over paid well, thank you. The sherman bad press I do not get. The man talks it and the man walks it. I don’t get the negativity.

To be fair Manning was pretty mediocre… So it would be hard to argue him wrong if he did, and I can’t stand Sherman. LOL

Most Dominating Defensive T E A M effort I can recall taking place in a Superbowl. RS included.

If anyone can recall a better effort in such a big game, then please educate me.

Great year, Seattle! You capped it off in style.

He battled well before he went down, he got his ring, now he can chill and get better for next season

Good thing no one threw food on him as he was being carted out of the stadium. That would’ve been truly classless.

Speedy recovery, Sherman. My sweet Eli Manning got a similar injury. Congratrs to the Seahawks from this French Bronco fan.

When you’re good you don’t have to run your mouth and tell people how good you are. Just keep your mouth shut and show them. The proof is in the pudding.

You don’t “have to”, but you GET TO DO SO, and those who don’t like it can pull down their skirts.
