The best news for the Seattle Seahawks is that they’ve won the first Super Bowl in franchise history. The comforting news is that cornerback Richard Sherman should be healthy soon.
He told Westwood One immediately after Sunday night’s 43-8 win over the Broncos that Sherman has a high ankle sprain. Sherman said it happened early in the game, and that he aggravated it in the fourth quarter.
Sherman has a boot on his right foot, and he’s using crutches. Presumably, rest will heal the injury. Some ankle sprains are sufficiently severe to require surgery, however.
