The Cardinals and wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald made some news today with a restructuring of Fitzgerald’s contract and we’ll spend some time with one of Fitzgerald’s teammates on Tuesday’s edition of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN.

Cornerback Patrick Peterson will drop by the show to let us know how his offseason’s been going and share some of his thoughts about Super Bowl XLVIII. Peterson is coming off another strong season for the Cardinals, whose defense helped them win 10 games and stay in the playoff race until Week 17.

We’ll have all the rest of the news from around the league and wrap up with some final words about the Seahawks’ win on Sunday night at MetLife Stadium as we continue the transition into the offseason.

It all gets started at 5:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Why will they be “scary” good next year. They were a very nice D this last year but nothing close to scary. In fact the only D’s I ever remember being scary good are the 85 Bears, 2000 Ravens, 90 Eagles, 76 Steelers.

Cards have a solid DLine, nice LBers, a nice young Safety and one good CB. Infact Peterson gets burned a lot.

A top D but nothing to make you think they’ll be scary good.

LOL…Cardinals D was good enough to own Russell Wilson @ Seattle. Don’t recall any other team doing that! I would say that is pretty scary good while #1 against the run. Hope Fitzgerald’s loyalty and goodwill toward his teammates wasn’t exploited and Steve Keim will pay Peterson and the others now that they can afford to do so. I don’t see the Cardinal fans buying into any flimsy excuses.
