The Bills have promoted from within to fill their vacancy at assistant defensive line coach.

Jason Rebrovich, who was Buffalo’s defensive quality control coach in 2013, is now the club’s assistant defensive line coach.

Before joining the Bills, Rebrovich was a defensive assistant at Syracuse in 2011 and 2012.

The Bills’ new defensive line coach is Pepper Johnson, who coached New England’s linebackers last season and worked with the Patriots’ defensive linemen from 2004 through 2011.
