  1. With all of those free agents, four draft picks, plenty of needs and not much money to spend, the Ravens are going to have a hard time improving their roster this year.

  2. I hope the Browns’ 3-Stooges get S Ward and C Mack resigned. I don’t care how many draft picks we have, we don’t need to create more holes than what we got. That’s simply shooting yourself in the foot.

But, after passing up O-linemen last off-season, I don’t have much hope. I guess there’s no appreciation for the “grunts in the trenches” from Joe Knuckles, bean counter.

The Haslam Hillbilly Circus will be playing at least through next season.

Sorry you are incorrect . the ravens have the following picks : 1,2,3,6 rounds along with 4 comp picks expected to be either a 3,4,5,6 or a 4,4,5,6 for ed reed , kruger., ellerbe, and Cary Williams.

  4. There’s no way the 3 stooges will be smart enough to resign both of these guy. Bannerd, will bust out his abacus, and try to save $3.00 and let both these guys walk to find cheaper options. Please prove me wrong stooges!

  5. If Moe does not make Larry and Schemp resign Ward and Mack they will be crating new holes right down the center of this team. You build a football team up the middle so losing these guys would be a bigger set back than Bud Abbott and Lou Costello drafting Anthony Bennett and Dion Waiters. At least Lou finally fired Bud.

(Lombardi is Schemp because we saw and heard from Curly a lot more than we have from Lombardi)

  6. I didn’t know Jacoby Jones was a free agent. A couple of party-bus trips and a box of ring-dings outta get it done.

  7. Jacob Jones Eugene Monroe Daryl Smith Dennis Pitta and maybe Ihedigbo and that’s it.

If Suggs dont restructure it would be sad to lose him but I won’t be surprised if they do. Look for a WR in the draft and in free agency. A FS in in the draft as well because looking in free agency burned them last year. Lineman on the offensive side and burn the playbook.

  8. The Ravens would be lucky to get rid of most of them has-beens after crumbling the entire season. The steelers will make smart decisions and continue to march on to the top of the division.

Sorry to disappoint, the ravens will not be getting those compensatory selections. ” Each player signed cancels out one player lost.” Remember signing a guy named elvis? HE easily cancels out kruger. Ed reed is not a 3rd round selection, he was CUT! You will be lucky to get one pick for ellerbe, 5th rounder. Maybe a 7th for Cary Williams.

  10. Haha. JMF begging for our players, Cody Wallace.

Ravens comp picks, 4,5,5,7. Quit over valuing your bum ex-players. Especially Ed Reed. He’s about to ride off to useless oblivion, while Troy P is making Pro Bowls.

The division is the Steelers to lose this year.

  11. Daryl Smith and Taylor Mays would fit well with the Vikings, Zimmer was Mays’ coach with the Bengals and Smith would be a huge upgrade next to Chad Greenway while Audie Cole grows at the position.

  12. Ed Reed was released halfway through the season last year, no way he nets a 3rd or 4th round comp pick, since the formula is based partly on playing time. I’d bank on a 6th or a 7th.

  13. I like the way no one is mentioning the Bengals on this post. Good reason for that. It’s called a deep roster. Sure, they’ll miss Michael Johnson and Anthony Collins if they leave, but there’s a damn good chance they’ll miss the Bengals more, and will sign back up. (Already heard that serious talks are going on with Johnson behind the scenes.)
