Receiver Terrell Owens, a certain Hall of Famer, presumably has given up on the NFL. His new bride has quickly given up on him.

According to TMZ, T.O. secretly married Rachel Snider on January 23. After only two weeks, Snider left Owens, claiming that he married her only for her money.

Snider claims that Owens used her to get a loan for a $2 million home in Sherman Oaks, California. He did not respond to requests for comment from TMZ.

Last year, Owens said that, if an NFL team doesn’t sign him during the 2013 season, he’ll retire. Because he hasn’t played in an NFL regular-season game since 2010, he’s only two years away from first consideration for the Hall of Fame, in a class that will include Brett Favre.

Given Owens’ career achievements, he definitely should get in on the first try.
