The Giants stockpile pass-rushers, which allows them to develop them.

And the latest project hopes to add muscle this offseason, to accelerate the pace.

Former third-round pick Damontre Moore said he wants to bulk up, and as soon as he recovers from minor shoulder surgery, he plans to dedicate his offseason to training.

“I want to get back as healthy as possible and pick up like 15 pounds of muscle,” he said, via Conor Orr of the Newark Star-Ledger. “I can do light stuff, I’m not cleared to lift weights yet but as far as the other stuff goes, I’m maintaining my cardiovascular strength and stuff like that. Just trying to enhance that part of the game so once I get cleared I can focus on the weights.”

Moore was limited to mostly special teams duties last year, but could have a bigger role soon. With defensive end Justin Tuck headed for free agency, they might need all the pass-rush help they can get.
