New Browns G.M. rolls out his first transaction

Unknown-3

The Ray Farmer era is off to a roaring start.

The new Browns General Manager made his first transaction Wednesday, signing wide receiver Royce Adams.

Yes, THE Royce Adams.

Actually, the Google machine tells us he spent part of last offseason with the Jets, but was released after suffering a knee injury. The former Purdue cornerback has also played in the Arena League.

It will not be the biggest transaction Farmer makes, but it is his first, so there has to be some satisfaction in that for him. And Adams, I suppose.

Is he a DB or a WR? His last year at purdue he was a WR but he played DB for the famous Pittsburgh Power. What a signing!

If he can actually catch the ball, it will be an improvement for us. Hopefully his knee is ok.

We still need another WR or two.

Well, I don’t know who he is, but I already know it is an upgrade from Bess and the rest of the dropsie gang.

I think this was more a Pettine move as Royce played for him with the Jets.
