Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel is scheduled to meet with the media in a few minutes.

A meeting more important to his future will be tomorrow.

According to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, the Texans will meet with Manziel tomorrow.

It’s the kind of brief getting-to-know-you session which won’t tell the Texans too much, but it is the first step in their process of vetting quarterbacks, as they decide what to do with the first pick.

I get a feeling that Manziel will be a bust for some reason. Watched him play a lot and found myself thinking “He won’t get away with that in the pros” a lot. If he starts 16 games this upcoming season, he will lead the league in picks.

Houston Texans wanting Manziel is such a Cleveland Browns Akili Quinn move.

That Said… Manziel is much better than Akili Quinn.

Personally, I think Manziel is going to make a fantastic quarterback for some NFL team. Hope it’s the Texans. But time will tell just like with any college player coming into the pros.

Texans won’t take a QB in the first round. My guess is a TE.
