The Packers need to make some changes on defense.

Those changes apparently don’t include getting smaller.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said the suggestion the Packers want smaller defensive linemen is incorrect.

“I’ve never been part of conversation that you want your defensive line smaller,” McCarthy said. “That’s not accurate.”

Of course, the Packers could be in store for significant turnover up front regardless of size, with B.J. Raji, Ryan Pickett, Mike Neal and C.J. Wilson all set to become unrestricted free agents.
