Height isn’t the only similarity between Johnny Manziel and Russell Wilson.
Manziel showed at the Scouting Combine that he also has Wilson’s speed, clocking a 4.56-second 40-yard dash. Wilson ran a 4.55-second 40-yard dash at the Combine two years ago.
That was the fastest time among the quarterbacks who ran this morning. It’s also faster than any quarterback ran at last year’s Combine.
Not everyone believes Manziel is as good a passer as Wilson, and not everyone believes Manziel is the same kind of leader Wilson is. But there’s not much doubt that they have similar tools as athletes.
